The story behind "The Good Week Retinol" by Priscila Fadul

Our celebration of Good Week Retinol, a retinol serum formulation that means so much to me personally. I started working on this formula while pursuing my degree in advanced cosmetic science last year,  which gave me the opportunity to gather valuable  feedback from experts and apply all my knowledge to its creation.

When I began developing Good Week Retinol, my goal was simple: to create something that worked hard for the skin yet felt gentle  enough for everyone to use. At Lendava, we’ve always focused on simplicity—our Good Night Routine already provides everything your skin needs to wake up glowing.  With our gentle cleanser Barefaced and Good Night Cream,  we’ve built the perfect foundation for a  streamlined skincare routine.  

But one thing was missing: retinol. It’s no secret that retinol is  one of the most powerful ingredients for skin renewal and  longevity, but I believe it’s best used just a couple of  times a week, not everynight. This inspired me to create a retinol  treatment that would perfectly complement our current routine.  

I wanted this serum to strike the perfect balance between power  and gentleness—an effective formula that delivers results while being kind enough not to cause sensitivity. 

The key ingredient in Good Week Retinol is Liposomal Retinol (1%),  an encapsulated form that’s more stable, absorbs better, and is  much gentler than traditional retinol. But I knew the serum needed  more, so we incorporated IceAwake, a biotech complex  from Switzerland proven to reduce cellular stress  and revive tired, dull skin.  

To make the formula even more balanced, I added CoQ10,  one of my favorite antioxidants that protects the skin from  external stressors, and Hyaluronic Acid,  to keep the skin hydrated and calm during the renewal process.
