What is the Difference Between SPF 30 and SPF 50?

Most people believe that a higher SPF offers better protection from the sun, but this is actually a myth.
SPF 30 offers 97% of sun protection, while SPF 50 blocks 98% of sun rays. After a certain level, the higher the SPF offers almost no  benefit over a lower SPF..  And  no sunscreen offers 100% protection from the sun.
So, an SPF 30 is more than enough and anything higher is just for marketing, and a way to feed unnecessary chemicals into your skin.
Also, the level of SPF protects you only from the UVB rays. But the UVA is the one that actually causes the aging and wrinkles.
So when choosing a sunscreen, always look for the phrase “ Broad Spectrum SPF”, because these are the ones that protect you from BOTH sun rays.
